Review of The Double (2014) by Cesare M — 13 May 2014
Part Kafkian nightmare, part German expressionism updated to colour, from a classic story by Dostoevsky.
Technically very well crafted.
A great movie if you are less than 22 years old and have seen little classics.
Otherwise, there's definitely too much of already seen here.
It's good, but not completely convincing. And possibly Eisenberg is aiming a little out of his league.
