Review of The Eagle (2011) by Bottafff — 15 Mar 2011
This was a huge disappointment for me, I was hoping for another Ancient Rome based movie to compare to Gladiator. The movie starts off well, with a little bit of suspension. But as it goes on it keeps on going down, it just became a generic/cheesy/horribly acted movie.
Especially when the main character meets up with his father's old soldiers and that point I was ready to walk out of the movie theater (and I did indeed see many people leaving). The only commendable thing is that it had very beautiful landscape shots.
