Review of The Equalizer 2 (2018) by Derek E — 20 Jul 2018

Not as good as the first, but that's not why this is rotten. Interestingly, the feel and flow of the movie is very similar to the first. You definitely get the sense that it's an Equalizer thriller.

But something seems out of touch; it could be the preachy pro-Islam propaganda, or it could be that it lacks relation to the core audience -- people like me and you. It's hard to pinpoint the main flaws in this movie, it's actually not bad, I would recommend you go see it, but just don't have high expectations because you would set yourself up for potential disappointment.
