Review of The Fabelmans (2022) by Stevekm — 16 May 2023
A movie with a double plot, Spielberg's childhood discovery of movie making and Spielberg's father not being emotionally available to his family made for an interesting story. His father was portrayed as a digital-age genius, but without inter-personal skills or emotions.
Perhaps this is why Spielberg was so immersed in the movies.
