I went to see this because I am a fan of the original series, and even though I somewhat got what I expected from this movie, it also fell way too flat in a lot of spots. The movie seemed routine and didn't really add enough to the story.
My biggest complaint was with Marisa Tomei's character. She was grossly underdeveloped and just seemed token. And when the movie was done with her, she was just taken out and unceremoniously killed off.
Even though I enjoy watching the first three, after this one it's time to stop.
