Review of The Foreigner (2017) by Kim C — 29 Dec 2017
Honestly I been waiting a while to see a violent Jackie Chan instead of the old comedy slack stick action he always does. There are quite a lot in Hong Kong films I can name he has done serious roles such as Crime story, Police Story Lock Down and Heart Of Dragon but nothing like this I have seen him was most brutal ever.
The movie starts off with Jackie Chan Aka (Quan) daughter leaving school and his boyfriend talking about the prom in the evening then Old Man Chan is waiting in the car to pick up her daughter from school. conversations happens in school and talking about the dance and prom things then just as they reach the store for her daugther pick up her dress a biker parks outside the store and Old Man Chan is trying to park the car and a person cuts him off and then crashes to Chan car and boom. End of my tease of the film but you have to see it from here, This is a very political movie based on terrorism and the Pierce Brosnan role as ambassador of northern Ireland and how they are trying to figure out the ranks who betraying there public partnership with Britain it goes between the story of Old Man Chan and Pierce role henessie but all I will say is this.
This movie is great in action and great in acting and seriously if your looking for a good action movie before the end of the year 2017 this really is up there in my opinion Old Man Chan for the win!
