Great, but not Fincher's best. But it keeps you interested and guessing, you definitely dunno what the hell is gonna happen next. Perfect direction (duh), and the acting was superb (a spot-on performance from Douglas).
Plus Sean Penn was great as a minor character, which is a rarity for him. I just dunno if this has enough replay value, but I'm hoping it does...we'll see. It desperately needs a blu transfer, soon.
It's definitely a cool spin on neo noir films (gee, I wonder why I liked it haha). Simply put, it's a great roller coaster ride!
