Review of The Game (1997) by Jeshwanth P — 06 Jan 2013
Jim Feingold: The game is tailored specifically to each participant. Think of it as a great vacation, except you don't go to it, it comes to you.
An intelligent suspense thriller from David Fincher. I think after Christopher Nolan, only he can make movies like this. Incredible performance from Michael Douglas.
Jim Feingold: What are you gonna do, anyway? You won't get your money back.
Nicholas Van Orton: I don't care about money. I'm pulling back the curtain. I want to meet the wizard.
I never know that this movie will be so good while watching because it is very slow in the beginning and I thought it is a drama. It is very difficult to think of a script like this and keep you on the edge of the seat till the end. You cannot guess the climax at all. I don't know why critics rated it so less. Must watch movie!!
Nicholas: I'm being toyed with by a bunch of depraved children.
