This film had a lot going against it; 1) being an indirect sequel to David Fincher's praised 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo', 2) all the actor's from the previous film were recast and 3) The source material received mixed reviews.
Though well shot and interesting, the plot is quite basic and the characters much less richly defined. Overall its an okay film, but not one I'd watch again.
