Review of The Glass Castle (2017) by Steven V — 09 Aug 2017

I don't know if this was just a nice respite from too many blockbusters or if it really was that good, but I really enjoyed the movie. I'll be surprised if this doesn't receive several Oscar noms for acting, especially Woody Harrelson.

It's a shame they don't have an ensemble acting award because this should be a lock as everyone (even the kids in their various ages) were fantastic. This was just a compelling story with some great dramatic moments.

My only real gripe was there was a little too much jumping back and forth from the "present day" to the flashbacks.
