I'd give the prequel part of the story 10/10 and the sequel part 6/10. Better even than Part I. While it is a masterpiece, there are undoubtedly more entertaining movies out there. Furthermore, it's never explained why Roth wants to kill Michael, which is the main plot of the entire movie.
It's a baffling oversight.
