Review of The Good Son (1993) by Matthew M — 15 Feb 2009
I remember when I was kid and I rented this thinking it was something I would like because Macaulay Culkin was in it. However it is rated R but I think it would have been rated PG-13 nowadays just because he says the F word once does not warrant an R.
Anyway I really liked the film especially the end even though it was kind of sad. Macaulay Culkin and Elijah Wood were great and the scene with the cars and dummy was especially brutal. A really decent thriller I enjoyed it a lot.
