Review of The Gray Man (2022) by Nameless — 13 Aug 2022
I had to come back and lower my evaluation. I keep thinking, and it just got worse with time. Great premise... but so many plot holes so they have excuses for the action. Yes, the other reviews were correct, cliche after cliche.
The screenplay is the worst, and the editing and cinematography are great. Without superheroes in their story, to cover the plot holes, it just falls apart. If you decide to see it, make sure you have the ability to fast forward through the boring parts (most of the fight scenes where they just hit each other forever).
The normal wooden acting from Gosling, but since most everyone are one-dimensional characters it does not really matter. Oh, and in case you care, there are no character arcs for any of the characters, just action.
