The Happytime Murders is very none PC...as any good comedy should be! If the puppet's were real people, this movie would get an x rating. Some people may feel apprehensive to laugh at some of the jokes in a public movie theater because a bit of the content pushes taboos.
Relax and have fun with it. The storyline feels like a comfortable classic. Disclaimer: I did grow up in the 70's to the Muppets and I did not watch the Trailer before we seen the movie. Forget the world exists for 90 minutes and have fun watching this movie :-).
