Review of The Hate U Give (2018) by Dave R — 24 Oct 2018
I liked this movie. My wife sorta lured me into it. I was initially uninterested as I'm a conservative that leans towards support of our men and women in uniform. I still do lean with "blue lives matter" but the movie helped me to understand a few things more thoroughly.
There is still alot of discussion I would like to have with someone that might feel otherwise. I enjoyed the acting and the depiction of cultural differences in one community. I thought the young lady had a strong performance and hope to see her in other movie projects.
