Review of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013) by Smith T — 19 Mar 2018
Extremely better than it's predecessor, (A Unexpected Journey) this improves the story and the Hobbit trilogy on so many levels. Martin Freeman and Ian McKellen are both terrific and the story itself sticks to the books, and that's a really good thing.
With a faster pace and memorable moments, this film did not disappointment. Very rarely do you get a sequel that is better than the original, but this was one of those times.
