Sometimes I think I have to congratulate myself for going on and on with horror films when in the end 99% of them are disappointments. And I always watch them with hope, the hope of finding something good but this year has been terrible for the genre, I've seen so many bad films that it's astonishing.
The Houses October Built does not enter the category of worthless but it doesn't really offers anything to stay until the end either, it's generic to the bone and you need patience while watching it because there isn't really much scares.
I heard a sequel was just released but it doesn't surprise me, cheap horror always get sequels.
