Review of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 (2014) by Carlotta 4 — 27 Nov 2016
This is without a doubt my favorite film in the hunger games series. The afteraffects of the games on our character's psyches, the constant back and forth between Katnis and Snow and Katnis and Peeta... there's so much tension and the film does a wonderful job of showing the role that Katniss more or less has no choice but to assume and how the other districts respond to that. I even love the propo filming and how terrible Katniss is at it--it's so REFRESHING to have a main character that feels like she could be a person instead of "god walking perfect.".
Very lovely done. I enjoy watching this film every time because it's so well crafted.
