Interesting if unoriginal 'battle royale' esque plot that tries to shoehorn action, comedy and satire into one picture. Sadly it's a swing and a miss with some distracting 'mouth acting' from gilpin, below par visual effects and generally bad pacing and screenplay.
This could've been an awesome horror or comedy if they had leaned harder into the genre and so what was produced ultimately feels out of sync with its own logic. I suppose it could be recommended if you're a fan of action thrillers as it does a fair job of throwing the violence at you from start to finish.
