Review of The Illusionist (2006) by Matt H — 26 Mar 2011
This film is completely beautiful and elegant magic; but what part of it is actually real and what is the illusion. Edward norton and Jessica Biel play very realistic roles. Paul Giamatti plays an a$$hole as usual.
The plot of the film is a little upsetting because there are people trying to ruin the genius behind Eisenheim's magic (Ahole Giamatti). The costume and set of the film deserve an A+. Everything about this film is sublime.
I definitley would not miss seeing this.
