Review of The Imitation Game (1980) by Marilena G — 14 Apr 2015
Alan Turing is the hero of many of computer science graduates. Having grown up with stuff like "Turing machines", "Turing-complete", "Turing test", and of course learning all about his contributions to cryptography, it was a joy for me to watch a movie dedicated to a true computer/math genius.
The filmmakers probably used their artistic license a bit too liberally on this one, but the fact remains: this man broke the Enigma code, helped end the war and was definitely unappreciated for his contributions during his lifetime.
