Review of The Internet's Own Boy: The Story of Aaron Swartz (2014) by Ken J — 06 Nov 2014
Documentary that helps you understand who Aaron Schwartz is and his significance to all of us. It also points to the awful cost of a government in the control of corporations who want to maintain control over information.
It is inspiring in that we get to see a person fighting for what he believes in (freedom and "all" the people) and having some wins that even surprises him. One of the original organizers of the Progressive Change Campaign Committee that was instrumental in promoting Elizabeth Warren's getting into the Senate as just one example of something I had no clue about before I saw the documentary.
