Review of The Interview (2014) by Alexander Z — 07 Jun 2017
I thought this movie was hilarious. I'm not sure if me being high makes a difference but I think everyone hating on this movie just isn't watching it right.
Reasons why I liked this film...
1.) I'm pretty sure Dave Skylark is unknowingly psychic.
2.) The jokes, banter, and idioms they have in this movie are, in my opinion, legendary.
- Peanut butter and jealous.
- K.Y Jealous.
- "Dave Skylark!" haha.
- Just pretty much everything they said.
3.) The dickhead at the bar in the beginning looked like a little bitch at the end. He was a huge dick. I was happy about this.
4.) It's a hilarious film.
5.) The 3 little kids little kids playing the guitar, and the one kid in the middle has a funny smile.
6.) I think everyone hating on this film for fear of North Korea is wrong. This film not only highlights things about North Korea that are true but they also went very easy on these truths. I don't mean this against the film but they could have made North Korea look A LOT worse. That is if they actually explained the sactions and the reasoning for the sactions that have been put on NK. How the US sends food to NK to feed his people now, and he tells them it is their offering to him. As though the US is praising him. About how you cannot leave the country. That in order to get out you must swim across the river separating NK from China and hope you aren't shot by one of the guards hiding in a hole by the river. The people in NK are not only his physical prisoners but he also has them mentally imprisoned. They really do believe that he is a God, that his dad is a God, and that everything thid man says is true. If this movie was seen by people in NK it could maybd change someone's perspective on reality vs what they had been brainwashed into believing. Or it might just interest people into learning more about the situation there instead of just following public opinion and using opinions they saw on Facebook as their own.

8.) Dave Skylark.
Great movie.
