Better than most of the reviewers give it credit for because what other movie in the history of movies has both Duvall and Downey? That would be like knocking a film with Spencer Tracy and Jimmy Stewart.
They keep you guessing on the courtroom drama part although even the verdict is not why you watch this. The two actors make it all worthwhile.
