Review of The Jungle Book (1994) by Rebecca31 — 06 May 2016
Bit late to the game but here it goes. I should mention that I was never a fan of the original, in fact I hate the original and this remake seemed pointless. As it turns out I really liked this movie. It's visually stunning, the voice actors perfectly chosen and Neel Sethi was terrific.
The one negative thing would be the entire scene featuring Christopher Walken as Don King Louie, completely out of place, felt like something out of a bad gangster movie and don’t even get me started on the singing.
Honestly by the end I was rooting for the tiger, that’s how good Idris Elba was. Highly recommended.
