Review of The Key to Reserva (2007) by Petros T — 16 Jul 2016
"The Key To Reserva" has a very interesting main idea and it succeeds in reconstrusting Hitch's spirit. But in trying to do so, Scorsese shows something more than ambition. Vanity. In other words, who the HELL does he think he is, anyway??? Apart from that, all the Hitchcockian themes are right there and this is probably the closest we'll ever get to seeing a new Hitchcock film.
Worth seeing once, but it would have been better without Scorsese "acting" in it.
