Review of The Killing of a Sacred Deer (2017) by Matt P — 25 Nov 2017
All the characters are very dull and boring for the most part, and the story is quite a drag- but it held my attention. loved the acting and cinematography. There's also some beautiful music thrown in.
The film reminded me of many other things I've seen- in no way was it original, but it was enjoyable. It needed more character development on the wife and children than just the man and the boy. Normally I'd give this a 6 or 7 but the intensity and creepiness made it an 8.
