Beautifully filmed? The Forbidden City? Wonderful. - watch a few minutes...Entertainment? Don't waste your time. I watch movies for the fantasy and entertainment it brings. If I only want artistic beauty or an education, I go to a museum or school.
This is a snooze-fest and, for some reason they made it exceedingly long. Go watch the paint dry on a beautiful painting for the same experience.. After about 10 hours of watching this boring film and waiting for something interesting to happen, I gave up and fast forwarded it. Not anywhere near worth the time you will spend watching it. Life is short -- don't waste it watching this.
