Review of The Last of the Mohicans (1992) by Nik M — 29 Jan 2016
What's great about Michael Mann's style in storytelling is that he doesn't hide behind metaphor or expressionism. The story is much more interested in being more like a historical retelling than a commentary on war, racism, and whatever other distraction.
The dialogue is always on topic and the roles of characters are executed through effective drama.
