Review of The Last Temptation of Christ (1988) by James M — 09 Jan 2019
The first two-thirds of the film is a screening of a more banal - and, therefore, more understandable - of the traditional Jesus story. The final third provides grist for the mill of controversy but too a glimpse at perhaps a fuller examination of the story.
Well-acted and well-set.
