Review of The Lazarus Effect (2015) by Richie A — 01 Mar 2015
The Lazarus Effect had a great cast and an interesting idea for the movie. The beginning where they explained the science behind their experiments was very interesting. It just seemed like they didn't know how to portray what they had in mind for the film. They never explained the possession. If it was a possession or just a side effect of the increased brain activity. Once she was possessed it just turned in to the usual possession trademarks. Floating furniture, flinging people across the room, and flickering lights.
To sum it up the movie starts out with what seemed like a fresh idea and quickly turned into an average paranormal copycat movie minus the explanation as to why it was happening. If you want to see it wait for home release.
