Review of The Leopard (1963) by Michael M — 05 Sep 2007
The best way I can describe it, which doesn't do it justice, is the Italian Gone with the wind. However, that's because it takes place during Italy's defining moments. Though the stakes are much more intellectual and thought out than just a tragic love story set against the back drop of war.
