Review of The Limits of Control (2009) by Aimee A — 30 Apr 2010
"I used my imagination.".
This delivered in every way in terms of marvelous cinematic touches, illustrating Spain charismatically, a wonderful main lead with an elegant presence, there were interesting interactions between the characters while they had some conversations to ponder about, but it just dragged on for TWO hours. I was expecting something to happen and I waited for it and once it came to the conclusion, the whole thing was a HUGE let down. It's not the kind of movie that I would ever want to go and view again. I am a patient person but I just wanted to be blown away and this did nothing for me. Jarmusch had too many ideas through out and just failed to create something that was memorable.
