On a technical level this is impressive, the cgi is really out there and realistic which shows alot of invested effort on their part. But overall this is just an expensive failure in almost every way imaginable.

Firstly it's star studded cast namely Beyoncé do horrifically at their voice work that beyond the awkwardness the cgi provides her acting adds another layer of lifelessness. She's near expressionless sounding like they are reading off a page.

Now onto the next issue,the one I had previ commended for it's accuracy - the cgi. The choice to make the animals realistic was a really bad one that makes the film feel like an animal documentary in an alternate universe where they all speak.

It removes you from the investing in what the story is attempting to say and Instead leaves you bored,which is my last point. This movie is boring. From it's pace ,writing and end you will be damned walking away with a positive experience.
