Unfortunately, the wrong approach was taken here, not only that the picture of an Ariel was completely missed. Songs were rewritten because they no longer seem contemporary. This film winks at Ednie who has nothing to do with the original.
Poor CGI little color except for the actors. And Triton also seems to have had his fun with all the mermaids around the globe, because Ariel's sisters are apparently Asian, African, German, Nordic, etc.
Where even the woke nonsense doesn't even make sense. You should really watch Arielle with an open mind because the actors are convincing in the end. But anyone who knows Arielle could not identify with it from childhood.
