How they got these actors to sign on for a script like this is baffling. The dialogue is clunky, character development for the leads is almost non-existent as is the development of the relationship between the two and a big reveal for one character is placed at the end of the movie when it should have been at the beginning to have any sort of impact on the story.
As we all know, writers these days love using the phrase 'subverting expectations', so they try to do that here but all they do is make a bad movie with possibly the most unsatisfying ending I have seen in probably 10 years.
This is a waste of 2 hours of your life.
