Review of The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond (2008) by Sweety H — 10 May 2010
I'm a bit unnerved by all the reviews being negative primarily over the actors' southern accents. I liked this movie; the costumes were exquisite, the shots were good, the music was lovely and the script was classic in the way that today's cinema has forgotten completely. If there were ever something like that which Tennessee Williams created then our film industry would be better served because we've just forgotten the simplicity of love and human relationships.
We could all learn from this film and any other of its kind.
