Review of The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997) by Boo 2!: A — 29 Oct 2018
I really enjoyed The Lost World: Jurassic Park. It feels like a legitimate sequel to Jurassic Park. There's been bribes, cover-ups, conspiracies, all of these being logical repercussions to an event like the first film.
The Lost World is also gleefully darker than the first film, allowing for a creepier atmosphere and a sense of danger.
Granted, the villain is pretty one-note, and I have a few other little nitpicks, but I find The Lost World a pretty underappreciated film.
8/10.
