Review of The Magnificent Seven (2016) by Fanofdisney1994 — 27 Aug 2018
While this is the second remake of the classic from Japan it is still a really good remake. I appreciated the character development they put in and how it was diverse with the type of people that each of the seven were. One of the best scene stealer’s is Vincent D’Onofrio as a bible quoting crazy mountain man. Martin Sensmeier is great as the Native American of the group. I love the fact they the late great James Horner included the original 1960 theme at the end of the film!
One of the best funny scenes is when Chris Pratt has to deal with two people he owes money to and decides to do a magic trick for them instead. Overall it is worth the watch unfortunately I didn’t have the chance to see it in theaters, but I did buy the Bluray and it looks and sounds incredible.
