Review of The Magnificent Seven (2016) by Thegodfatherson — 22 Sep 2016
A firecracker western with a cast that one could have only dreamed of. The Magnificent Seven is high on body count, heart and one-liners. Antoine Fuqua (Training Day) spreads his love of westerns on a film that works both on screen and on paper.
Being a remake of Seven Samurai, it never reaches its excellence but will give a blast to western audiences and a dose of the story that was so beloved before.
