Review of The Man in the Iron Mask (1998) by Andy S — 26 Nov 2018
Loving the setting and period of the movie and the time it's taking place during. The chemistry and interactions between actors is pleasant to watch. See, D'Artagnan knew how to deal with that situation with the citizens of Paris. We all need a leader like that in our lives. One who cares and is not quick to escalate situations and turn them into massacres of violence and war.
Pretty smooth how they got the prisoner out. These filming locations are beautiful. I want to visit all of them in Europe. What a cruel fate to punish you twin brother just to take reign over a country. I love Porthos' lust for life and women. It's so nice to see mother and good son reunited and see ho much they've missed each other and love each other.
King Louis is so hateful, so malevolent, cold, and selfish it's ridiculous. Quite impressive how they were able to get such a great ensemble of actors. I'm really glad justice was served. Pretty happy ending and conclusion.
