The Man in the Moon is about falling for the wrong boy, about falling for someone who only has eyes for someone else. This was Reese Witherspoon's debut as an actress and still it ended up being her best movie.
She shows an incredible talent in this movie. How you can see in her face what she's feeling and thinking. Her acting ability was astonishing at that age and it's only getting better! This is a drama with both sorrows and romance, it's spectacularly acted and kept me hooked from the first word of the movie until the end credits started to roll in the end.
