Review of The Man Who Wasn't There (2001) by Larry C — 21 Sep 2014
A dark, brooding, and witty noir full of memorable characters and performances. The Coen bros and Roger Deakins go all in with the black and white photography--lush settings gleam as characters converse in shadows and the light that trickles in through cracks.
"The Man Who Wasn't There" hardly has one false note, don't miss it, "before it all just washes away".
