Review of The Man Who Wasn't There (2001) by James S — 28 Jan 2008
Boring. That would be the perfect one word sum up of this movie. It's hardly surprising though really. By this point the once great Coen brothers were well into their continuing creative decline and for crying out loud, if you're going to get someone to narrate a movie then at least choose an actor who doesn't have the most boring voice on the planet.
The film lacks any real drive or drama and plods its way through to what feels like a very long time coming climax.
Perfect for anyone wanting to catch up on some sleep.
