A downgrade from the first one, the story and characters are worse than the first one, I also wonder if Matrix was always supposed to be a trilogy, since they basically played all their cards with the first movie, and had almost nothing left for the sequels, while the action is still very good, it isn't as good or surprising as the first movie, there is also a couple of stinkers, like the Neo vs.
