Regard it as a modern day big budget B movie. Like me start with low expectations then be impressed with the special effects, Statham acting well and the comedy.
Much better than expected.
No one should expect "the three bill boards" but I'd prefer this as pure fun entertainment. Quite graphic with violence at times so I'd avoid showing under 12's (no swearing or sex though). Better in 3d and the quality on the Blu-ray of the 3d effects are very good.
