Mostly provocation for its own sake, the menu feels like a theater production. The story is based around a chefs obsession with punishing the various perceived sins of a restauranteurs clientele. Its interesting but flawed with a great cast.
Doesn't seem to fully commit to the cinematic moods it explores (comedy, mystery, thriller, horror).
