Review of The Messengers (2007) by Hellholehorror — 11 May 2023
The visual effects and style are very nice to look at, the vast majority of shots are nice, the sound design is great. Overall very solid technical aspects. The story though is not every original, it’s a pretty standard ghost story.
It’s not very creative. There are some good scares and a very hot Kristen Stewart but ultimately lacking any special or any true horror.
