Review of The Messengers (2007) by Rasheda H — 28 Mar 2013
I am not understanding why this movie received such a low rating....it wasn't perfect, but so few modern haunted house movies are. I think it did its job, giving the viewer a couple of super creepy scares following a pretty decent plot line.
The use of a baby as the main character is perfect since baby's and pets are said to be more sensitive to supernatural activity than we are. It also fits with the plot(don't want to give any spoilers).
Its worth at least a 1 time watch. Hold back expectations and you will be satisfied with this dramatic ghost story and even be in sympathy with some of hte ghosts and Kristens character.
