I honestly didn't go crazy for this movie. Yes, it had its moments, mostly tragicomic but definitely very well acted…

Noah Baumbach is often unfairly accused of pretension & navel-gazing in his films…

Lame and bizarrely caricatured people who you find no affinity with and I felt would do us all a favour if they didn't exist at all…

I'd put it in the top third of Baumbach's filmography (up there with Kicking and Screaming, Frances, and Mistress America)…

Even a somewhat average work by Noah Baumbach manages to be so much better than most scripts out there…

From the first 10 minutes I wanted to gouge my eyes out…

Great acting, good script, mostly good heart felt dialogue, and a little bit of wanting to be the weird of the cool…
